1. Choose an animal poem from the following website. http://www.poetry4kids.com/cat-Animal.html 2. Use Audacity to record yourself reading (dramatizing) the poem. 3. Locate one (1) instrumental music track and add to your Audacity project. 4. Locate and download at least eight (8) sound effects that will enhance your project. 5. Document everything as noted on the handout to the right (read very carefully). 6. Update your website (add the Animal Poem MP3 to your Audio Projects Page). |

HELPFUL HINTS:
- Make sure your headphones (not earbuds) and microphone is plugged in at all times (even when exporting your audio file as an MP3).
- If your file isn't playing or you can't do anything to your file...make sure the audio isn't paused.
Part 2:
Due Tuesday
Choose one more poem from Ken Nesbitt's site. Make sure the poem has a lot of adjectives in it so that you can find sound effects to enhance the audio.
**Dramatize your voice
**Speak loud enough to be heard over music track
**Highlight your recorded voice track and compress the file (make the volume more even)
**Find One (1) Music Track that will fit your poem
**Find Eight (8) Sound Effects
**Create a Word Document, Copy/paste the poem you chose and the author
**Annotate on the Poem where you placed the sound effects
**Include Sound Effect name with Author and the link where you found the sound effects
**Include citation for Music Track as well.
**Follow the Handout Instructions for the Animal Poem to make sure you included everything.
**Upload the final MP3 Audio file to Edmodo
**Upload the final MP3 Audio file to your Websites on the Audio Projects Page (give the audio file a caption or title)
